Recommendations upon Buying Tequila

El tequila original debe ostentar en la etiqueta lo siguiente/The original tequila should parade in the etiquette the following:
 

1. La palabra “ Tequila ” y solo alguna de estas dos frases/The word" Tequila" and only any of these two phrases:
100% puro de agave
100% de agave.
 

No se deje engañar y examine a fondo las etiquetas que contienen leyendas como/Be not allowed deceive and  examine the etiquettes that contain legends thoroughly like:
100% Natural,
100% De Jalisco,
100% Destilado,
100% Mexicano,
100% Artesanal,
100% Sabor a Agave,
100% Envasado de Origen,
100% Proceso Artesanal,
100% Jalisciense,
100% Espíritu de Agave,
100% Reposado,
100% Añejado,
100% Nacional

DOBLE DESTILACION (todos los tequilas deben destilarse como mínimo dos veces/all the tequilas should distill like minimum two time)
TRIPLE DESTILACION (si la doble destilación se realiza correctamente no es necesaria una tercera destilación que pudiera eliminar el carácter que identifica el buen tequila/if the double distilling is carried out correctly it is not necessary a third distilling that could eliminate the character that identifies the good tequila )

 2. Debe ostentar las siglas CRT que corresponden al Consejo Regulador del Tequila./It should parade the CRT acronyms that correspond to the Regulating Advice of the Tequila.

 3. Revise que aparezcan en la etiqueta las siglas NOM (NORMA OFICIAL MEXICANA) y enseguida el número de autorización del destilador./ Revising that the NOM acronyms appear in the etiquette (NORM OFFICIAL MEXICAN) and consecutive the number of authorization of the distilling.

4. Que aparezca él % de alcohol volumen (% Alc. Vol.) que corresponde a la graduación del producto./ That he appears % of alcohol volume (% Alc. Vol.) that it correspond to the graduation of the product.

5. Que indique el contenido neto del producto. That indicate the net content of the product.

6. Las frases “DOBLE DESTILACIÓN” o “ESPÍRITU DE AGAVE” no tienen ningún valor y por lo mismo no son una garantía de calidad./The phrases "DOUBLE DESTILACIÓN" or "ESPÍRITU DE AGAVE" they don't have no courage and for the same they are not a guarantee of quality.

7. Cualquier marca que ostente la palabra “TEQUILA” y en ninguna parte de la botella establezca que es 100% de agave ó 100% puro de agave, éste es un Tequila MIXTO, es decir un destilado que se produce con el 51% de alcohol procedente del agave azul Tequilana Weber y el 49% de alcohol de otros azúcares./Any mark that parade the word "TEQUILA" and  in no part of the bottle establish that it is 100% of agave or 100% pure of agave, this is a MIXED Tequila, that is to say a distilled that  are produced with the 51% of alcohol origin of the agave blue Tequilana Weber and the 49% of alcohol of other sugars.
