CONSEJO REGULADOR DEL TEQUILA.

 El Consejo Regulador del Tequila es un organismo acreditado para verificar y certificar el cumplimiento de la Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-006-SCFI-1994, Bebidas Alcohólicas-Tequila-Especificaciones; para lo cual cuenta con el Acreditamiento de la Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación UVNOM 002 con referencia No. 99UV0016 como Unidad de Certificación y con el No. 05 con oficio 312.16.98.055 como Organismo de Certificación (acreditado por SECOFI).

INTEGRANTES DEL CONSEJO DIRECTIVO

· Gobierno Mexicano (SECOFI, D.G.N., SAGAR, SEDER, SALUD, IMPI, PROFECO)

En función de cuidar que los mandatos de la NOM de la bebida tequila se cumplan al pie de la letra, fue constituido el Consejo Regulador del Tequila, cuyos antecedentes y objetivos son los siguientes:
 

ANTECEDENTES.-
En los últimos 30 años el tequila ha pasado de ser una bebida regional a una bebida de aceptación nacional, siendo una de las bebidas con mayor reconocimiento y crecimiento en los mercados de exportación (principalmente a los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica y Europa).

A raíz de la globalización de la economía mundial, surge el interés del Gobierno Mexicano de transferir al Sector Privado funciones que venía desempeñando en la normalización, verificación y certificación de la calidad de productos y servicios, siendo el tequila uno de ellos, tomando como ejemplo, las denominaciones de origen europeas para: Jerez, Champaña, Cognac.

La nueva Ley federal de Metrología y Normalización, publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el día 1 de julio de1992, permite y promueve que organismos del Sector Privado participen y se responsabilicen de las labores de certificación del cumplimiento de las Normas Oficiales Mexicanas y entre ellas la del tequila.

El Consejo regulador del Tequila es:

· Un organismo del Sector Privado
· Una entidad no lucrativa
· Entidad de alcance Nacional e Internacional
· Organismo con propia personalidad jurídica

OBJETIVOS
1.- ASEGURAR A TRAVES DE LA VERIFICACION, EL CUMPLIMIENTO DE LA NOM-TEQUILA.
2.- GARANTIZAR AL CONSUMIDOR LA GENUINIDAD DE ESTE PRODUCTO.
3.- CERTIFICAR EL CUMPLIMIENTO DE LA NOM-TEQUILA SALVAGUARDANDO LA DENOMINACIÓN DE ORIGEN, EN EL PAIS Y EN EL EXTRANJERO.

 
ZONAS TEQUILERAS

Siendo el estado de Jalisco la región más importante como productora de tequila, ya que en el se produce el 96% del litraje total y considerando que el cultivo del agave requiere de la combinación de numerosos factores como:

-          La altitud, preferentemente a 1500 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

-          Las condiciones de la tierra, favorablemente suelo volcánico. Arcilloso, permeable y abundante en elementos del derivados del basalto y riqueza en hierro.

-          Pluviosidad, cerca de un metro anual.

-          Temperatura constante de clima semi-seco que oscile entre los 20º

-          Importante la exposición al sol, ya que se considera favorable que existan nublados entre 65 y 100 días del año.

-          Sería conveniente delimitar su producción por zonas con el propósito de que al evaluar tequilas, se consideren sus características muy propias en cada región. De esta manera pudieran tomarse en cuenta las siguientes zonas:

Zona de Los Altos
· Arandas
· Atotonilco
· Tepatitlán
· Tototlán
· Zapotlanejo
 

Zona del Valle de Tequila
· Amatitán
· Arenal
· Magdalena
· Tequila

Zona de Guadalajara
· Ciudad de Guadalajara
· Zapopan
· Tlaquepaque

ADVICE REGULATING DEL TEQUILA.

  El Regulating Advice of the Tequila is an organism credited in order to verify and certify the execution of the Norm Official Mexican NOM-006-SCFI-1994, Drinks Alcoholic Tequila Specifications; for which  rely on the Accreditation of the Mexican Entity of Acreditación UVNOM 002 with reference Not. 99UV0016 like Unit of Certification and with the No. 05 with occupation 312.16.98.055 like Organism of Certification (credited by SECOFI).

In function of looking after that the commands of the NOM of the drink tequila are completed to the foot of the letter, the Regulating Advice of the Tequila was constituted, whose antecedents and objectives are the following:

ANTECEDENTS.-
In the last 30 years the tequila has passed of being a regional drink to a drink of national acceptance, being one of the drinks with greater reconnaissance and growth in the markets of export (mainly at the United States United of Norteamérica and Europe).
 

Soon after the globalizacion of the worldwide economy, the interest of the Mexican Government surges of transferring the Sector Private functions that it came redeeming in the normalization, verification and certification of the quality of products and services, being the tequila one of them, taking like example, the denominations of origin europeans for: Jerez, Champagne, Cognac.

The new federal Law of Metrología and Normalization, published in the Official Newspaper of the Federation the day 1 of July de1992, permit and promote that organisms of the Private Sector participate and take the responsibility Mexican Officials of the works of certification of the execution of the Norms and between them the of the tequila.

The regulating Advice of the Tequila is:

· An entity not lucrative
· Entity of National and International reach
· Organism with own artificial personality

OBJECTIVES
1.- ASSURE TRAVES DE THE VERIFICACION, THE OF EXECUTION THE NOM-TEQUILA.
2.- GUARANTEE TO CONSUMER THE GENUINIDAD DE THIS PRODUCT.
3.- CERTIFY THE OF EXECUTION THE NOM-TEQUILA SAFEGUARDING THE DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN, IN THE COUNTRY AND ABROAD.
 

TEQUILERAS ZONES

Being the state of Jalisco the most important region like producer of tequila, since it in the are produced the 96% of the total liters and considering that the cultivation of the agave requires factors of the combination of manifolds like:
